#2 Orange Sacral Chakra

The SECOND chakra is the SACRAL, located just below your navel in the pelvic area. Your sexual energy and life force is here. Emotional issues in the area, to name a few, are sexuality, creativity, shame and guilt. The SACRAL vibrates to the concert key of D, Ray on the scale, and is associated with the color ORANGE.  It is found in the testes or ovaries and is associated with sexuality.

DIFFUSE: ESSENTIAL OILS —choose oils that help you enjoy life, creation and pleasure:Ginger Root, Cardamom, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine or Orange. Put a small amount of a carrier oil and a drop or two of the essential oil in your hands and rub together. inhale the scent of the oils for a few deep breaths. Then work in wide circles and rub into day our belly area of the Chakra.  Focus on the  Sacral Chakra receiving the aromatherapy and think of a deep sensual orange color while the oils are massaged in. While you meditate and do yoga, diffuse whichever oil you are choosing to use.

SOUNDS:  Select a ‘Meditation for the Sacral Chakra’ and feel the vibrations deep in your belly. Relish the moments with each breath.

More woo, woo and OH wow and lots of WHOOPEE as well as coiled snakes:

Original undifferentiated energy from creation is often called Akasha in Indian philosophy and in other enlightened circles, it is termed the Secret Fire. This elemental psychic energy is completely instinctual and unconscious and is heavily influenced by spiritual, psychic, and psychological phenomena. One of the major functions of the Secret Fire is to increase human self-awareness. At the lowest level, this is the ego, at its highest, it is the Higher Self, or Universal Energy.

image

ABOUT that curly snake that keeps appearing:
In the vast majority of humanity, this Secret Fire, or liberating energy of self-consciousness, is said to lie dormant at the base of the spine, coiled like a serpent. By learning to contact the various focal points of energy, what are called the chakras, the person moves her locus of consciousness into the various areas. If the Secret Fire reaches the top of the skull and beyond, spiritual awakening can occur, allowing for a descent and re-ascent of the energy, during which the psychic centers can be awakened, allowing for the manifestation of personal empowerment.
The Secret Fire is directly linked to sexual and creative forces in humans. Sexual desire can act as one of the basic evolutionary impulses, along with Higher Intellectual forces. The dormant capability and need for positive orgasmic experiences is biologically and psychically rooted. Sexual experience within the context of genuine love involves experience of spiritual transcendence, foreshadowing ecstatic union with the One. The “little death” or petite morte of the sexual orgasm, is a forerunner of the “big death” as we let go and experience divine oblivion.

YOGA: Low Squat (Malasana)

This low squat focuses on the pelvis and allows you to be open and receptive physically, emotionally, and energetically in order to accept yourself fully, especially in the area of sexual relationships..

Dancer’s Pose–This yoga pose stretches thighs, groin, and abdomen and improves balance.
Stand in Mountain Pose, Inhale and firmly root your right foot into the ground. Move your weight into the right foot.
Exhale and lift your left heel toward your buttock as you bend your knee.
Reach back with your left hand and grasp your left ankle or your foot.
Raise your right arm up towards the ceiling and hold it there.
Begin to lift your left leg upwards away from the ground and your body. Keep lifting.
As you lift your left leg, tilt your upper body forward.
Hold the posture and feel the energy flowing through your pelvic area.
This is an excellent yoga pose for balance. It requires a great deal of concentration.

image

2.Child’s Pose,–This is the most powerful pose (have I mentioned that this is my personal favorite and a whole lot easier than #1) to become in touch with your own breathing and with the movement of the air in your abdomen. In this posture, you can let the prana of water to flow and awaken yourself to your inner life as you observe your breath.

MEDITATION:
Close your eyes and take deep breath
Be aware of your body–do a scan of your body to find any area of tension. Breathe into them and release them
As you empty your mind of all other thoughts, feel the fluidity within your body and be reminded that you are a sensory being feeling, creating and enjoying the juiciness of life.
Feel your body, while you still on the outside, flowing like water on the inside full of potential.
This potential creates a nurturing sensation that cradles you. You are moved by its gentle rocking flow.
As you are saturated by the feeling of orange flowing potential, imagine it flowing through your body. This is the force behind your creativity and passion. It gives you a warm and fluid sensuality that is attractive and fills you with a vibrancy that resonates in all that you do

Repeat: I am a sensory being full of creative potential. “I embrace life with passion, joy and happiness. My senses are alive, well and connected.”

When you feel ready, open your eyes and continue to enjoy your day to its fullest.

All through the day, as you picture the orange rotating light energy in your belly, you can chant—and radiate: “I embrace life with passion, joy and happiness and a bunch of whoopee!

#1 Woo Woo to Whoopee Red

SOUND:  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HS6va3bNTTw    Root Chakra Activation by Vortex Success

FRAGRANCE:  Diffuse (without heat) or wear diluted Essential Oils such as  Balsam Fir, White Fir, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Ginger, or  Patchouli for grounding

Sunday resonates strongly with our BASE CHAKRA

Without a balanced Root Chakra, it is impossible to fully balance the other chakras.

MEDITATION: While standing (tree pose or flat footed), Visualize a glowing red jewel at the center of the earth

From that jewel, a stream of brilliant energy coursing through the earth, —–feel the vibrations in your feet,——- feel the glow as it travels up your legs and settles at the base of your spine spinning and connecting you with the earth.

———————-

We know from physics that transversal energies, such as electromagnetism, which travel in empty space, voids, behave in many respects like longitudinal vibrations which travel in matter, such as sound. For instance, both energies have distinct frequencies. This similarity explains in part why certain sounds affect certain areas of our body.  For example drumming or the sound of C or ‘Doe’ on the Sound of Music’ scale, resonate and activate the energy in our base chakra.

When one of the chakras is out of balance as a result of negative energy flowing through it, it begins to spin too slowly or too fast. When a chakra is not balanced, it can effect that physical region of the body and also effect very specific aspects of our spiritual and emotional selves.

The first chakra governs the bladder, kidneys, lower extremities, and spine. When there is an imbalance, you can experience physical symptoms that include: constipation, weight issues, fatigue, or back pain
Emotionally speaking, when the first chakra is in need of balancing, you may find you’re short-tempered and unusually aggressive. Other signs you need to open up the root chakra are: insecurity, poor decision making, anxiety, or detachment

———————-

If this sounds a bit ‘Woo, Woo’, or is  congering up images of glistening turbans, snakes with funny heads and smoke from some unidentified source, it is noteworthy that the Native Americans (from the North Pole to the SouthPole) as well as the East Indians and Africans figured out the energy systems before Einstein and his sort put numbers, italicized letters and squiggles to these swirling traveling energy forces we call chakras (meaning wheels).

The first writings about the chakras are dated at approximately 1000 B.C., and their origins are based strongly within Hinduism, but the concepts of chakras and energy centers is also fundamental within the Ayurvedic concepts of prana and the Chinese practice of qi.

It is believed that we each have seven primary chakras. Each chakra is thought to resemble a colored wheel that spins in a clockwise direction, and the chakras are thought to each spin at a different rate or frequency, correlating with the prismatic separation of light(think rainbow)

Chakras are invisible to the naked eye and interconnect our physical and spiritual selves. Each of the seven chakras is tied directly to a specific region and nerve center of the body.

Even if you question if the chakras truly exist, the underlying principles of the chakras can still play a special part during prayer, meditation or when trying to improve your physical, spiritual or emotional outlook.

Intention: I can play a more active role in directly focusing my intent on trying to balance the areas of my body and life that need it.

We become endowed with the ability to transmit our own energy field, our individual unit of power. Humans are energy transformers; we are alive and developing in proportion to how much of this universal energy we accept and how freely it flows through us. The better we transmit this energy or allow it to flow through us, the more alive and contented and effective we become.   (FRom ‘Spiritual Energy’ written by Norman Livergood
http://www.hermes-press.com/spiritual_energy.htm)

AFFIRMATION:      As I focus on this red light that radiates from my base chakra, I know that I am of good health and sound mind. I stand in my strength and in my truth. I forgive myself for any neglect of my body in the past. I now love every part of my body, every cell is filled with energy and power. I no longer judge my beautiful self and I accept my greatness.  WHOOPEE!!!!!!!!

Spend the day being mindful of your connection with the earth.  You are of the earth, you are the earth and you are ever so lovable.

Congering up more Red Whoopee,

Priscilla

CROWN CHAKRA:

Power Points!
Of our existence

That is kinda what the chakras are like–
data in the form of energy waves directed
-or attracted
by physical similarities
—vibrations–energy!!!

Suddenly there is the picture
as in a power point!

Energy flows in and around our physical and mental bodies and
—like birds of a feather–
Or magic
Or physics
the like waves gather together.

Violet, the highest energy
of the light waves
nests as a crown on our heads
connecting us with the universe.

This violet ball of cosmic energy resonates with the vibrations of musical note ‘B’ or ‘Ti’ on the scale.

For the loveliest of sounds, search for ‘Meditation Music for the crown chakra’ and select one of the offerings to inspire your meditation.

Our sense of oneness and unity is controlled by this chakra and two of the AROMAS for your delight are Rose and Lotus.

A CRYSTAL is amethyst

Crown Chakra Visualization MEDITATION:

Begin your practice seated and bring your hands into prayer (Anjali Mudra) at your heart. Bring your awareness to your pelvic floor and let it rest there until you feel grounded, supported, and relaxed. Then begin to glide your awareness up the front of your spine slowly checking in and resting for a moment on each chakra as you go. Imagine the spine as a stalk or reed and draw your awareness up through the reed. Once you reach to the crown of your head, imagine there at the top of that stalk of energy a luminous white lotus flower. One by one begin to open each petal of the thousand-petaled lotus. Imagine as you open the lotus that your innermost self is merging more and more with the universe. Let this happen in the most natural and beautiful manner. Spend as much time in this visualization meditation as you like.

Set a personal intention –something to do with the oneness of all–for the day and repeat it over and over disallowing any negative thoughts, and being mindful of as many breaths as possible.

Power to you!

Blue Throat Thursday

This Thursday Celebrating Throat Chakra swirling in blue and turquoise

throat-rumi

Fifth Chakra – Sound, vibration, communication, self-expression, being heard: This is the chakra located in the throat and is thus related to communication and creativity. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound representing language. It is about vibration. Let those vibes vibrate with vigor and vitality.
(“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, Think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration” Nokola Tesla; inventor, physicist, supergenius)

Diffuse: Lavender for kind creative communication

Blue Lapis Crystal given the intention to communicate creatively

Meditation:

OM: THE COSMIC YES “OM contains that energy which is the unification of masculine and feminine energy. And it’s also called the soundless sound, it’s called the sound of the universe, it’s the cosmic ‘Yes’. There are so many ways to try to get closer to a translation but it’s impossible. So the best way is to just experience it.

As we chant the sound OM, sit with our back straight and give that intention to those minutes to be fully present for that sound, how it feels in our body. How it sounds within. Make it so loud enough that you can actually really feel the vibration of your voice and give yourself enough breath and space for the ‘mmm’ so it’s not just the ‘O’ but also the ‘mmm’ sound. So it becomes a circle of energy, of deep breaths, the OM until the very end of your breath. And then another deep breath.“ (from: Mantra Meditation Journey)

Gather your blue markers, crayons, pencils paint and make waves and(or particles depending on your viewpoint)  As the energy in our throat chakra is amplified we have a an expanded life, a more interesting creative life bringing forth the jewels that are hidden within.

Mindful of our Beating Hearts

Ahh the fragrance of Rose permeates your senses

Meditate

Be mindful of your beating heart………

Mindfulness is the only intentional, systematic activity that is not about trying to improve yourself or get anywhere else, explains Kabat-Zinn. It is simply a matter of realizing where you already are. A cartoon from The New Yorker sums it up: Two monks are sitting side by side, meditating. The younger one is giving the older one a quizzical look, to which the older one responds, “Nothing happens next. This is it.”

You can become mindful at any moment just by paying attention to your immediate experience. You can do it right now–with a awareness of of your swirling green heart chakra—What’s happening this instant? Think of yourself as an eternal witness, and just observe the moment. What do you see, hear, smell? It doesn’t matter how it feels—pleasant or unpleasant, good or bad—you roll with it because it’s what’s present; you’re not judging it. And if you notice your mind wandering, bring yourself back. Just say to yourself, “Now. Now. Now.”

Sense the beat of your heart
Here’s the most fundamental paradox of all: Mindfulness isn’t a goal, because goals are about the future, but you do have to set the intention of paying attention to what’s happening at the present moment. As you read the words printed on this page, as your eyes distinguish the black squiggles on white paper, as you feel gravity anchoring you to the planet, wake up. Become aware of being alive. Feel your beating heart. And breathe. As you draw your next breath, focus on the rise of your abdomen on the in-breath, the stream of heat through your nostrils on the out-breath, the beating of your heart. If you’re aware of that feeling right now, as you’re reading this, you’re living in the moment. Nothing happens next. It’s not a destination. This is it. You’re already there.

Have a mindful heartfelt day filled with love

Glow in the Gut

We may transmit our own energy field, our individual unit of power. The better we transmit this energy or allow it to flow through us,  the more alive and contented and effective we become.

Tuesday is celebration and opportunity to focus of our SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA!!!

RIGHT IN THE GUT!!!!——–above our navel and directly in our stomach area. The solar plexus chakra plays a vital role in digestion and glows in a bright yellow color. This chakra deals with growth and pertains to issues of the intellect, personal power, control and spiritual evolution.  “I DO”

Sounds:  Clearing and strengthening the Solar Plexus Chakra–https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-NuPR9pJ1VY

Crystals: Citrine

Diffuse:  Cinnamon, Rosemary mixed with Lemon, Geranium, or Vetiver.  For even more energy mix any of the above Essential oils (except NOT Cinnamon as it could burn your skin) with a carrier oil in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together vigorously then deeply inhale for several breaths.  Put more on your palms and rub into your Solar Plexus.

While looking at this image, or a candle you have lit, bring attention to your solar plexus area in your body located under your sternum, at the top of your belly. Allow yourself to feel your presence there, paying attention to all the sensations.
Repeat aloud:
I AM Power.
I AM Light.
I AM Confidence.
I trust myself.
I shine as brightly as the sun.
I AM happy and content with myself.
I AM comfortable in my own skin.
I AM empowered.
I AM cheerful.
I know how to relax, and I know how that feels.
I AM decisive.
I AM accepted.
I release all anger and resentment.
I know WHO I AM.
I Love WHO I AM.
Breathe into your solar plexus area.
Breathe in these affirmations as you say them out loud again.
Breathe out all fear, anger, resentment, jealousy, rage, hatred, and anxiety.
Breathe in Power – Love, Joy, and Peace.
Breathe in confidence.
Breathe out cheerfulness and imagine the circulation of that cheer, out to all others, as you have so much to give.
——————–
tidbit I came across: Emotions are projected and received via the energy transmitted through the chakras. Once emotions are generated or accepted into our energy field, they move through the body via the meridian system which consists of energy channels that feed all the glands, organs and systems. Emotions, like areas of the body, crystals, essential oils and plants, have specific vibrational frequencies and will accumulate in areas with the same frequency. This is why certain emotions are associated with certain areas of the body, and how the chakras, or energy wheels, are connected to the meridian system. (from Carolyn Mein, “Releasing Emotional Patterns With Essential Oils” 2015 edition)

————-

Power, we are talking POWER in this glowing yellow Solar Plexus!
As you improve the energy flow here, you will develop a stronger will, a clear sense of self and will improve your ability to manifest. This is the chakra that is responsible for manifestation on all levels.

Some folks think of manifestation in terms of money, but in a more spiritual sense most of us would like to manifest other things: Good health, better relationships, self-esteem, talents and abilities, overall spirituality and health, the list goes on.  One example, is communicating with equines.  Send the message to turn from your solar plexus and you need say nary a word.  I send my long ears love messages from the gut and they come ambling over with kisses.   The power is there–just clear it up, straighten it up and USE it.

Love And strength,

Orange Sacral Chakra Monday

When I think of Orange sacral chakra Monday and then opening, embracing, liberating and releasing inhibitions, I always think Jasmine. It makes the process of opening up joyful rather than fearful. It promotes love, sensuality and sexuality, creativity, and living in the moment. Jasmine harmonizes and promotes wholeness. So fill you and your surroundings with the fragrance of Jasmine and feel the embracing flowing love of self.
