#4. Swirling Spring Green Heart Chakra

The FOURTH chakra is the HEART, located in the center of your chest. Love, compassion, unconditional love is here. Emotional issues found here are grief, relationship problems, and love. The HEART vibrates to the key of F (Fa on the scale) and is associated with the color GREEN. It is in the thymus and is associated with the immune system

Fragrance:  Diffuse Melissa EO or Rose, wear Rose EO ( I mix a few drops of the Rose EO with regular body lotion in the mornings and enjoy the lingering fragrance  most of the day)

Rose Quartz is the stone of unconditional love. One of the most important stones for Heart Chakra work, Rose Quartz opens the heart to all types of love – love of self, love of family, love of friends, romantic love. Because it is a type of quartz, Rose Quartz does have a high energy, but its vibe is also calming and soothing.


Heart Chakra, Anahata for Sanskrit aficionados, is associated with air. If you’ve worked with the other chakras, you can integrate all of the elements to support this work. The first chakra is earth, steady and grounded; the second chakra, water, brings a fertile creativity; the third chakra is the “fire in the belly” required to transform that grounded creativity into positive action. And now you have air dispersing and integrating spiritual understanding of love, compassion, and connection to everything you encounter. Air, like love, is within and all around

Through awareness we have the ability to transmit our own energy field, our individual unit of power. Humans are energy transformers; we are alive and developing in proportion to how much of this universal energy we accept and how freely it flows through us. The better we transmit this energy or allow it to flow through us the more alive and contented and effective we become

Intentions:  If your intention is to transmit your unconditional, non-controlling  love to yourself and throughout your environment and the universe then you may want to meditate  to strengthen this power surge.  Empower your crystals and fragrance with your intention for the most effectiveness.  Make it (your intention)’simple to last your whole day through.’ Just sing it , sing out strong.  LOVE yourself.

Low Lunge. From Downward-Facing Dog , step your right foot forward. Gently release your left knee to the floor and reach the arms up into a Low Lunge. Square your hips toward the front end of your mat. Bring your left hand to your left hip, reaching your right arm up. You may stay here or slide your left hand down the inner left leg as your curl your spine back, in, and up to open the heart into a deeper backbend. Next, actively press your left hand into your inner right leg and as the leg and hand resist each other you will feel stronger and avoid sinking into the low back. Isometrically, hug your left knee and right foot in toward each other, this will lift the pelvic floor and help you draw your low belly in and up. Finally press down through your right foot and let the heart fly up a little more. Spend 5 breaths here. change sides
