Monday corresponds to our second from the bottom energy vortex, the Sacral Chakra. This chakra located just below our navel in our lower abdominal region vibrates a deep, saturated orange and relates to reproduction on a physical level, creativity and joy and relationships on an emotional level and our energy and passions on a spiritual level. The Sacral Chakra influences personal creativity ranging from artistic expression to creative problem solving. Healthy sexual desire and expression is also controlled by the Sacral Chakra, though communicating sexual desires is also directly affected by the Throat Chakra Medically referring to the sacrum or the region around the sacrum or as an adjective, relating to sacred rites, this area of energy is CEO of the sexual organs, the uterus, prostrate, bladder, kidneys and the sense of taste. Sanscrit Name Svādhisthāna means “Sweetness” or “Seat of the Soul/Sacred home of the self” (Swa – vital force, soul; adhisthana – seat or abode). SWEET!

MEDITATION: Put your hands in your lap, palms up, on top of each other. Left hand underneath, its palm touching the back of the fingers of the right hand. The tips of the thumbs touch gently. Concentrate on the Sacral chakra at the sacral bone (on the lower back).
Chant the sound VAM.
Affirmation/Intention: “I am radiant, beautiful and strong and enjoy an OUTSTANDINGLY healthy and passionate life”
YOGA: Low Squat (Malasana) This low squat focuses on the pelvis and allows you to be open and receptive physically, emotionally, and energetically in order to accept yourself fully. Intention/affirmation: I accept and love myself.
Dancer’s Pose–This yoga pose stretches thighs, groin, and abdomen and improves balance.
Stand in Mountain Pose, inhale and firmly root your right foot into the ground.
Move your weight into the right foot.
Exhale and lift your left heel toward your buttock as you bend your knee.
Reach back with your left hand and grasp your left ankle or your foot.
Raise your right arm up towards the ceiling and hold it there.
Begin to lift your left leg upwards away from the ground and your body. Keep lifting.
As you lift your left leg, tilt your upper body forward.
Hold the posture and feel the energy flowing through your pelvic area.
This is an excellent yoga pose for balance. It requires a great deal of concentration.
2.Child’s Pose,–This is the most powerful pose to become in touch with your own breathing and with the movement of the air in your abdomen. In this posture, you can let the prana of water to flow and awaken yourself to your inner life as you observe your breath.
