OUTSTANDING ORANGE Sacral Chakra

Visualize your OUTSTANDING swirling bright orange sacral chakra two inches below your belly button. Breathe in orange to recharge this second chakra. Release negative emotions with each exhale as your orange energy gets brighter and brighter.

As you know, each of us has an energetic field that encases our body and internal organs. This energy, called bioenergy or chi, is responsible for life as it fulfills our need for subtle energy. The vortexes existing in this energetic field are called chakras. The chakras act as points of connection between our physical and non-physical (astral, extraphysical) bodies, enabling energies to flow from one of these vehicles of manifestation to the other. They are the means by which we absorb energy from and externalize energy to the environment, and exchange energy with others; therefore, they form the core system through which we sustain our energy levels, vitality and health.

Low Squat (Malasana)—The life lesson in the second chakra involves replacing guilt with forgiveness and acceptance.
This low squat pose focuses on the pelvis and allows you to be open and receptive physically, emotionally, and energetically in order to accept yourself fully.

—Squat with your feet as close together as possible. (Keep your heels on the floor if you can; otherwise, support them on a folded mat.)
—Separate your thighs slightly wider than your torso. Exhaling, lean your torso forward and fit it snugly between your thighs.
—Press your elbows against your inner knees, bringing your palms to together and resist the knees into the elbows. This will help lengthen your front torso.
—To go further, press your inner thighs against the sides of your torso. Reach your arms forward, then swing them out to the sides and notch your shins into your armpits. Press your finger tips to the floor, or reach around the outside of your ankles and clasp your back heels.
–Hold the position for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then inhale, straighten the knees, and stand.
Affirmation: I accept and forgive my OUTSTANDING self.

Outstanding Orange Sacral Chakra MonDAY

 

Monday corresponds to our second from the bottom energy vortex, the Sacral Chakra.  This  chakra located just below our navel in our lower abdominal region vibrates  a deep, saturated orange and relates to reproduction on a physical level, creativity and joy and relationships on an emotional level and our energy and passions on a spiritual level.  How radically OUTSTANDING is that?!

   The Sacral Chakra influences personal creativity ranging from artistic expression to creative problem solving. Healthy sexual desire and expression is also controlled by the Sacral Chakra, though communicating sexual desires is also directly affected by the Throat Chakra    Medically referring to the sacrum or the region around the sacrum or  as an adjective, relating to sacred rites, this area of energy is CEO of the sexual organs, the uterus, prostrate, bladder, kidneys and the sense of taste. Sanscrit Name Svādhisthāna means “Sweetness” or “Seat of the Soul/Sacred home of the self” (Swa – vital force, soul; adhisthana – seat or abode).  SWEET!

    Intention that coincides with sacral chakra vibrational lessons is “to let go of control issues and judgements so we can surrender, go with the flow and be more open and receptive.”

Dancer’s Pose–This yoga pose stretches thighs, groin, and abdomen and improves balance.

Stand in Mountain Pose, inhale and firmly root your right foot into the ground.

Move your weight into the right foot.

Exhale and lift your left heel toward your buttock as you bend your knee.

Reach back with your left hand and grasp your left ankle or your foot.

Raise your right arm up towards the ceiling and hold it there.

Begin to lift your left leg upwards away from the ground and your body. Keep lifting.

As you lift your left leg, tilt your upper body forward.

Hold the posture and feel the energy flowing through your pelvic area.

This is an excellent yoga pose for balance. It requires a great deal of concentration.

2.Child’s Pose,–This is the most powerful pose to become in touch with your own breathing and with the movement of the air in your abdomen. In this posture, you can let the prana of water to flow and awaken yourself to your inner life as you observe your breath.

Monday is Sacral Chakra Day and Spring is Cleaning time.

When day and night are in  balance and harmony with each other, anything we do right now to seek balance in our lives will be enhanced by this energy. Working in alignment with nature’s vibrations boosts our spiritual efforts, and this time of reawakening is ripe for clearing and balancing our chakras and energy fields. Harness this power of renewal to purge the unnecessary from your energetic closets and vacuum up any emotional residue. It’s time to spring clean your soul!

Unclog Your Pipes with Energy Healing
Our chakras are the invisible but vital energy centers that are designed to move energy between our personal field and the universal field, and, when spinning correctly and unencumbered, these chakras are the means by which we replenish our energy and maximize our health. From energy healing you’ve learned that your body is made from your energetic field, which means that what goes on in your field directly affects your body. SEE YA LATER:  What I love about the veneration of our energy centers, nature and the Universe is the inclusivity of the practice. We do practices based on what calls and speaks to us. There is no one dictating who may join the church of nature celebrations and rituals; they are deeply personal and steeped in history. I recommend starting now; there’s no better time, with the energy of Spring upon us, for ushering in a new ritual. This is, after all, the season of renewal and rebirth.

Your second chakra governs how you experience pleasure, and a common issue for this chakra is shame. Water is cleansing and healing for this chakra, so immerse yourself in water for twenty minutes—in the ocean or a clearing bath with sea salt and baking soda.

Healing occurs in the present moment. Vibrant, Sassy, Friendly Vibrant Orange

Monday correlates with the SECOND chakra–the SACRAL, located just below your navel in the pelvic area. Your sexual energy and life force  energy is here. Emotional issues in the area to name a few are sexuality, creativity, shame and guilt. The SACRAL vibrates to the concert key of D (Ray)and is associated with the color ORANGE.  It is vibrates in the testes or ovaries and is associated with sexuality.

If we learn at a young age it is not ok to ask for what we want, the sacral chakra becomes blocked, we go into a state of resistance about asking for our desires and instead focus on excessive people pleasing. We become blocked about receiving, which reduces our ability to give to others. A sacral imbalance will often leaves us feeling ‘not good enough’.

A balanced sacral chakra is evidenced by expressing a strong desire for what one wants in life as well as easy and healthy creativity and generous giving while being able to receive freely. Vibrant Joy!

Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. Unfortunately, people hurt each other. You deserve to be free from the weight of resentment and anger. Forgiving can be a gift of peace to yourself. Be mindful not to over think, relive, or obsess over outcomes out of your control. Wanting, wishing and hoping for something to be different will never make it so. Accept, even when you can’t understand.

Finally, never forget your dreams. It’s ok to put them on the back burner as life unfolds in unexpected ways. But while they are there, let them simmer. Stir them up every now and then, and when the time is right, bring them forth and pursue them with passion.

Be humble, be grateful and always be mindful of fostering the values that lead to your higher self, and the ultimate state of happiness – inner peace.

The sacral chakra is the center of creation, the true seat of Shakti (the feminine aspect of the Hindu God). All aspects of the Goddess reign here and thus this becomes the seat of a woman’s power. (The solar plexus area is the power center of the Godhead, where ideally men hold their seat of power.) (It is interesting to note that if we, as humans, feel threatened or disempowered, we tend to put down layers of fat for protection over our seats of power. Have you ever noticed that women tend to have excess adipose tissue below their wasteline – protecting the sacral chakra – whereas most men tend to create fat over their solar plexus chakra – in that their bellies hang over their belts. Could it be that we are protecting these sacred power centers physiologically against energetic attack? )

In this second chakra not only do we create life, but also all forms of creation such as art, music, poetry, etc. It is a very sacred and powerful place for women to manifest their dreams and desires, as well as stand in combat to protect those dreams and desires. In the varying aspects of the Goddess, we not only have the nurturing mother, the young sexual maiden, the wise old crone, but also the warrior, the artist, the intellectual, the sacred prostitute etc. We are all faces of the Goddess in the sacral chakra and play out all her different personalities.

In this area we also hold control issues. If we are weak or lacking energy in this chakra, we can give over our control to others and become disempowered, impotent and fearful. Physical complaints such as prostate problems, PMS, fibroids, menstrual problems and lack of sexual drive can occur when the second chakra is imbalanced. Lower backache, sacroiliac problems, sciatica, and bowel dysfunction can also be attributed to a challenged sacral chakra. We need the creative life energy pulsing through this area to maintain homeostasis in the lower organs and stabilize health

Stand in Mountain Pose, inhale and firmly root your right foot into the ground.
Move your weight into the right foot.
Exhale and lift your left heel toward your buttock as you bend your knee.
Reach back with your left hand and grasp your left ankle or your foot.
Raise your right arm up towards the ceiling and hold it there.
Begin to lift your left leg upwards away from the ground and your body. Keep lifting.
As you lift your left leg, tilt your upper body forward.
Hold the posture and feel the energy flowing through your pelvic area.
This is an excellent yoga pose for balance. It requires a great deal of concentration.

2.Child’s Pose,–This is the most powerful pose (my personal favorite and a whole lot easier than #1) to become in touch with your own breathing and with the movement of the air in your abdomen. In this posture, you can let the life force of water  flow and awaken yourself to your inner life as you observe your breath.

Low Squat (Malasana)

This low squat focuses on the pelvis and allows you to be open and receptive physically, emotionally, and energetically in order to accept yourself fully.

MEDITATION:

Put your hands in your lap, palms up, on top of each other. Left hand underneath, its palm touching the back of the fingers of the right hand. The tips of the thumbs touch gently.     Concentrate on the Sacral chakra at the sacral bone (on the lower back).

Chant the sound VAM(Vaaaaaaa nnnmmmm).

Be aware of your body–do a scan of your body to find any area of tension. Breathe into them and release them
As you empty your mind of all other thoughts, feel the fluidity within your body and be reminded that you are a sensory being feeling, creating and enjoying the juiciness of life.
Feel your body, while you still on the outside, flowing like water on the inside full of potential.
This potential creates a nurturing sensation that cradles you. You are moved by its gentle rocking flow.
As you are saturated by the feelinwg of orange flowing potential, imagine it flowing through your body. This is the force behind your creativity and passion. It gives you a warm and fluid sensuality that is attractive and fills you with a vibrancy that resonates in all that you do

Repeat: I am a sensory being full of creative potential. “I embrace life with passion, joy and happiness. My senses are alive, well and connected.”

When you feel ready, open your eyes and continue to enjoy your day to its fullest.

#2 Orange Sacral Chakra

The SECOND chakra is the SACRAL, located just below your navel in the pelvic area. Your sexual energy and life force is here. Emotional issues in the area, to name a few, are sexuality, creativity, shame and guilt. The SACRAL vibrates to the concert key of D, Ray on the scale, and is associated with the color ORANGE.  It is found in the testes or ovaries and is associated with sexuality.

DIFFUSE: ESSENTIAL OILS —choose oils that help you enjoy life, creation and pleasure:Ginger Root, Cardamom, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine or Orange. Put a small amount of a carrier oil and a drop or two of the essential oil in your hands and rub together. inhale the scent of the oils for a few deep breaths. Then work in wide circles and rub into day our belly area of the Chakra.  Focus on the  Sacral Chakra receiving the aromatherapy and think of a deep sensual orange color while the oils are massaged in. While you meditate and do yoga, diffuse whichever oil you are choosing to use.

SOUNDS:  Select a ‘Meditation for the Sacral Chakra’ and feel the vibrations deep in your belly. Relish the moments with each breath.

Original undifferentiated energy from creation is often called Akasha in Indian philosophy and in other enlightened circles, it is termed the Secret Fire. This elemental psychic energy is completely instinctual and unconscious and is heavily influenced by spiritual, psychic, and psychological phenomena. One of the major functions of the Secret Fire is to increase human self-awareness. At the lowest level, this is the ego, at its highest, it is the Higher Self, or Universal Energy.

ABOUT that curly snake that keeps appearing:
In the vast majority of humanity, this Secret Fire, or liberating energy of self-consciousness, is said to lie dormant at the base of the spine, coiled like a serpent. By learning to contact the various focal points of energy, what are called the chakras, the person moves her locus of consciousness into the various areas. If the Secret Fire reaches the top of the skull and beyond, spiritual awakening can occur, allowing for a descent and re-ascent of the energy, during which the psychic centers can be awakened, allowing for the manifestation of personal empowerment.
The Secret Fire is directly linked to sexual and creative forces in humans. Sexual desire can act as one of the basic evolutionary impulses, along with Higher Intellectual forces. The dormant capability and need for positive orgasmic experiences is biologically and psychically rooted. Sexual experience within the context of genuine love involves experience of spiritual transcendence, foreshadowing ecstatic union with the One. The “little death” or petite morte of the sexual orgasm, is a forerunner of the “big death” as we let go and experience divine oblivion.
