Violet Crown Chakra Saturday

Violet Crown Chakra Saturday

Correlated with Saturday is the SEVENTH chakra, our CROWN located at the top of the head and our potential connection to the SOURCE. The CROWN vibrates to the key of B(‘tee’ on the scale)and is associated with the colors lavender, violet, white and gold .
By consciousness(meditation), we become endowed with the ability to transmit our own energy field, our individual unit of power. We are energy transformers; we are alive and developing in proportion to how much of the universal energy we accept and how freely it flows through us. The better we transmit this energy or allow it to flow through us; the more alive and contented and effective we become.
The energy we conduct of the Higher Force calls its complement into our being. Emanations( an abstract but perceptible thing that issues or originates from a source)of Higher Energy become available to transform our lives, recharging and repairing our own systems bruised and muddied up with negativity and regrets. Energy upheavals shift us out of destructive habits of condemning ourselves, encouraging us to relearn integrative joyful and artistic ways of being.
The crown chakra is a door of universal energy and conscience: through it we can reach a higher state of awareness. Our violet crown (Sahasrara in Sanskrit) leads us to the true nature of life which is abundant in JOY, EXPRESSION, PURPOSE and CURIOSITY.
There is JOY in CURIOSITY , CREATING and in the CREATION. There is WONDER in stepping outside our comfort zones. There is FREEDOM and PURPOSE in artistic expression in whatever form

CRYSTALS. Selenite and Amethyst crystals—Amethyst crystals are exceptional for providing spiritual protection, inner strength and clarity of mind, making them a classic meditation tool. Meditating with them can help you to become more in tune with your feelings, helping you to get to know yourself on a much deeper level. It also stimulates the crown chakra and calms thoughts, making it a powerful aid in meditation. Aside from what they can do for your body, amethyst crystals are one of the most beneficial stones to have in our environment so that the amethyst healing properties constantly surround.  These crystals work to purify any space of negative vibrations, emanating an energy ideal for you to thrive in. They help to clear the mind of unnecessary thoughts and clutter. On a physical level, having amethyst crystals in your home is believed to help strengthen the immune system and heal any imbalances that lie in the body.

Diffuse: Rose and/or Lavender
Lavender as some astonishing effects on our body: composed Linalool and linalyl acetate which are rapidly absorbed through the skin after topical application with massage have been shown to calm the central nervous system ( http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ecam/2013/681304/)
…. “ essential oils are lipid soluble and can penetrate cell membranes bringing an increase of 21% oxygen to the cells within 20 minutes of application. ” This allows cells to function normally and release chemical toxins in an oxygen rich environment. Sesquiterpene molecules especially increase oxygen availability in the limbic system of the brain around the pineal and pituitary glands. This oxygenated environment can “lead to an increase of antibodies, endorphins and neurotransmitters. Essential oils also carry into the cells, ozone and negative ions which inhibit bacterial growth, antioxidants and hormones – all necessary for proper cell functioning.” (http://www.biospiritual-energy-healing.com/essential-oils-affect-the-body.html)
The effects of aromatherapy are theorized to result from the binding of chemical components in the essential oil to receptors in the olfactory bulb, impacting the brain’s emotional center, the limbic system. Topical application of aromatic oils may exert antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects.(http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0032645/#!po=3.12500)
YOGA: Any meditative pose such as the Lotus

MEDITATE: Clear your mind, be still and focus on the violet energy circling at the top of your head connecting you with the Universe.
Light your lavender soy candle infused with Lavender oil. Meditate silently on the flame becoming as one. Start chanting ‘OM” bringing you into a calm and balanced state

For a group chant of ‘OM’ the sound, or vibration of the Universe–beyond beginning or end:   http://blog.sivanaspirit.com/mantras-that-will-change-your-life/

This vibration helps the mind to release restless thoughts and focus in the moment

SEE YA LATER: I think it is quite lovely and calming to have an amethyst cluster, a reed diffuser (April 9th post)of Lavender EO and a bouquet of lavender flowers arranged on the bedside table. As you arrange your crystals, oils and flowers empower yourself and the other energy forms you are working with with your intentions. “I AM oneness with all” is the one I repeat each time I am mindful and present in the moment.

“Freedom is not given to us by anyone; we have to cultivate it ourselves. It is a daily practice…No one can prevent us from being aware of each step we take or each breath in and breath out.” — Thich Nhat Hanh, Buddhist monk,

Advice from a Dying 24 Year-old

MakeItUltra™

walking-into-the-sunset-copy

I came across this today and felt compelled to share.

“Soon I will be gone forever, but that’s okay as long as someone reads this. I am only 24 years old, yet I have actually already chosen my last tie. It’s the one that I will wear on my funeral a few months from now. It may not match my suit, but I think it’s perfect for the occasion.

The cancer diagnosis came too late to give me at least a tenuous hope for a long life, but I realized that the most important thing about death is to ensure that you leave this world a little better than it was before you existed with your contributions . The way I’ve lived my life so far, my existence or more precisely the loss of it, will not matter because I have lived without doing anything impactful.

Before, there were so many things…

LOVE Heart Chakra Wednesday

The HEART Chakra , resonating with Wednesdays, is located in the center of the chest, its element is Air, and it rules the heart and lungs. The Heart Chakra is where we integrate our masculine and feminine energy as well as our human self and True Self. Within our Heart Chakra, we can raise our consciousness through the power of love or lower our consciousness through the power of fear. Many cultures think of our Heart Chakra as the Seat of our Soul. We have a lower Heart Chakra, whose color is green, and a higher Heart Chakra, thymus area, whose color is pink. The Higher Heart Chakra rules unconditional love for all, and the Lower Heart Chakra rules human love. Therefore, the Heart Chakra rules all of our relationships, our perception of love, and our ability to give and receive it, with others and with ourselves and with our Higher Self. Ultimately, the primary focus of the Heart Chakra is to balance Wisdom, Power, and Love, in our relationships and in our actions.

When the Heart chakra is clear and in balance, we have compassion for all life, we are empathic, and we can see the Divine in other people. We are humanitarian and nurturing, and we can express and receive abundant love. We are happy and fulfilled because we are fulfilling our Divine Purpose in service to humanity. Our sense of self is not limited to the ego, our consciousness is expanded, and we realize that to love others is to love ourselves, because we are all one.

CRYSTALS:  Set out and give intention to Pink Quartz or Jade crystals—–Jade is a stone of the heart. As such it is related to the heart chakra and has a beneficial effect on all heart chakra related issues. It can attract and enhance love of all kinds, given that intention. It is also a stone of fidelity and generosity. It is also considered to be good for the physical heart and for emotional balance and stability. It is used in crystal healing for increasing self-reliance. Jade is  very helpful as a stone of abundance, energized by its color.

FRAGRANCE:  Rose EO    —–The spiritual influence of Rose has been known for thousands of years. Rose has the highest spiritual frequency of all essential oils. It opens the heart chakra, stimulates the thymus gland’s immune fighting properties and allows one to feel unconditional love.——It is also one of the most expensive oils – in order to produce 1kg of pure essential rose oil, 4000 kg of rose petals are needed.

The thymus  located in front of  heart energy chakra, and in front of the physical  heart, just under your sternum, is a specialized  organ of the immune system. Within the thymus, T cells or T lymphocytes mature. T cells are critical to the adaptive immune system, where the body adapts specifically to foreign invaders.   The heart chakra is closely woven into the endocrine system and Rose essential oil can be used to affect the hormonal balance of the body by triggering the glands into action or by balancing its hormonal secretion in some way.

The thymus gland (essential for the immunological system of the body), works as a reflex centre for higher levels of consciousness.   John ONeill suggests that this chakra is where “intent” originates, that it links the emotions of the heart with the reason of language.ONeill goes on to say “The Thymic chakra is where “intent” originates, it is the link between the emotions of the heart and the reason of language. It is what makes you inhale a breath before you speak, since this is where the intent behind the words you are about to speak actually starts forming. So, lets say that your heart feels a certain way about something that it would like to voice. The energy shoots up  from the heart center to the Throat chakra but passes through the Thymic area first, giving it a heads up to start getting prepared to speak by drawing a breath – or by stopping the breath to prevent you from speaking. This is why you don’t always say what’s on the tip of your tongue. This is also why emotions can wreck havoc with your health, as the Thymic  area of the heart chakra can be bombarded by emotions to the point of fatigue.  The Rose EO calms the area.   The Thymic chakra acts as something of a “lie detector” by interfering with energy that is not truthful. This is why we have trouble speaking when we are upset. The flow of energy from the heart is always meant to be peaceful and that’s really the only kind of energy that the Thymic  area of the heart chakra “understands”)  That is pretty much the looong story of why Rose and other essential oils can affect our chakra system of energies.

MEDITATION:   Heart Chakra is connected to the element of air so  tune into the love that flows all around you.   Harmonize with the powerful emotion of love. Allow your heart to connect to the beat of the hearts of those around you and guide you as you dance along the path of life. It is a good idea to have the most harmonic music you can find on your playlist today.

Mudra for the Heart Chakra.—Join the tips of your thumb and index finger on both hands together. The other three fingers should be joined and stretched straight up together.   Rest each hand on its corresponding knee.   You can also hold either or both of your hands in this position over your heart.    The heart chakra has governance over compassion and love. The Gyan Mudra helps to heal those attributes focusing on our ability to be generous and to share happiness. This helps us to be mindful and aware, of ourselves and of others. This mudra also bestows an ability within all who practice it to give off compassionate energy to others they come in contact with. Repeat the chant ‘YAM’ (Yaaaaaaa-uummmmmmm)

Meditation:  Lie comfortably with your spine straight. Close your eyes and take a deep breath.                 Take a deep inhalation, and on the exhale hug your arms around your body. Give yourself a squeeze.              As you exhale, release your arms and feel yourself open, yet connected to the earth.         Lift your chin slightly and position yourself as if your heart were to lead you in all things.                 As you continue to breathe, imagine that you are emptying yourself completely. You are letting everything flow out of you with your breath.              In the space between the exhale and the inhale, there is a slow, steady rhythm. This rhythm stays with you and guides you as you move through each breath.                    Focus for a moment on the rhythm, which is the beating of your heart. Each pulse pumps life through your body.             Feel the vitality increase as you focus on this steady, subtle, internal music. Hearing this sound fills you with an effortless grace. It reminds you of all that is beautiful, all that is lovely, all that is joyful.                     This rhythm is what allows you to harmonize with the world around you – connecting you in ways you haven’t even begun to imagine.                      In this state, imagine each pulse of your heart sending a course of love energy through your body.                        On your next inhalation, fill your entire body with love and let it course through you.                            With each beat of your heart, love grows and hums until its rhythm becomes a steady, resounding song that carries you throughout the rest of your day.

Repeat the following: “I listen to my heart and honor its connection to the hearts of others. I allow love to fill me up and guide me in all of my actions. I gracefully move to the rhythm of life.”

Continue to let this feeling flow and deepen with each breath.            When you feel ready, open your eyes and move with love and motion through the rest of your day.

Today,  I suddenly realized that the jubilant feeling I get walking out a door into the warm Texas air is LOVE.  It fills my very being with comforting peace and joy.  I get the same bursting feeling looking at flowers.  Right now I am looking out the window at the pink flowering crabapple tree in the yard and the feeling is almost too much to contain.  Funny, I never realized, until this morning, that the feeling has a name: LOVE.  Love is all around.   I am LOVE,          I had the same feeling when I hugged our son yesterday.  So joyous and exhilarating with no real words for it.

I oft have the feeling that  words have a way of obscuring or warping the true meanings of their objects. “Words belong to each other,” and so they are more accountable to other words than to the often unnamable essences of the things they signify” (from Maria Popova in Brain Pickings)  M. Popova explores this idea of naming things with reference to Robin Wall Kimmerer, a Thoreau of botany,  who explores with extraordinary elegance in Gathering Moss: A Natural and Cultural History of Mosses —-a beautiful meditation on the art of attentiveness to life at all scales.  Kimmerer sees the power of naming as an intimate mode of knowing. As the progeny of a long lineage of Native American storytellers, she sees the power of naming as a mode of sacramental communion with the world.  So perhaps my naming my feelings, Love, is a new attentiveness, an expression of the heart that the throat and thymus are just releasing.  Try naming some of the unexpressed emotions of your heart and let me know what you found.

———

Green– instinctively , we tend to lean toward green when in need of balance or harmony.  Green relaxes the heart.  For added heart energy today  place your hands on either side of a plant (if none are available at your house use one at the grocery store) and breathe in its color and vitality.

Throughout your day  feel LOVE in the air and repeat:  “I do not have to DO anything to be loved, and being who I am does not let others down.  Simply be who I am and LOVE what is before me in this moment for that is all there is”.  NAME that feeling from your heart.

Thursday is Self-Expression Chakra

Thursday correlates with the Blue aura of the Throat Chakra. This 5th chakra is located in the neck, above the collarbone and is associated with the thyroid gland. By ensuring you have a healthy throat area you assist truthful and honest expression of your ideas.

FRAGRANCE:   Diffuse and/or wear :

image

This Thursday I am using Valor  Essential Oil which is a blend of Rosewood, blue tansy, frankincense, and spruce.  Deanna@herbaloasisbodycare.com made mine up under the name ‘Empower’.

Visualize or wear the color blue

CRYSTALS:  Wear, or have nearby, blue gemstones like Lapis Lazuli, sapphires, turquoise or celestite   This chakra reacts powerfully to the use of high vibration crystal energy stones.  Lovely Blue Celestite clusters are one of the high vibration stones, as are  Lapis Lazuli, turquoise, Moldavite, Herkimer Diamonds, Blue Tanzanite and Danburite which are all powerful for healing this chakra.

blue celestite image  image                                 Celestite                                                                   Lapis Lazuli

Lapis Lazuli is a powerful crystal for activating the higher mind and enhancing intellectual ability. It stimulates the desire for knowledge, truth and understanding, and aids the process of learning. It is excellent for enhancing memory. [Simmons].   A stone of truth, Lapis encourages honesty of the spirit, and in the spoken and written word. Wear it for all forms of deep communication. It is also a stone of friendship and brings harmony in relationships.

If you keep the chakra stones close by the throat, it may improve the flow of energy to the area. Earrings made of any of the blue stones will also resonate energy to the ears and to the entire throat chakra.

SOUNDS:   Meditate listening to musical note G and visualizing a glowing blue ball  (Meditation Music for Throat Chakra Healing 384HZ in G—-m.youtube.com/watch?v=KN3h_zwCSnk)

INTENTION:  Reach deep within and feel your power, your very own to express in whatever what you enjoy.  If you don’t tell your story, no one else will.  Express, Express. Communicate what is stored in your heart and soul.   Feel confident in your self-expression. Empower your crystals and fragrance with your intention.

—––

MEDITATION:

Mudra:throat mudra

To Open the Throat Chakra:      Cross your fingers on the inside of your hands, without the thumbs. Let the thumbs touch at the tops, and pull them slightly up.Concentrate on the Throat chakra at the base of the throat.  Chant the sound HAM. (For pronunciation, keep in mind that: the “A” is pronounced as in “ah,”the “M” is pronounced as “mng” (“ng” like in “king”).

Sound, vibration, communication, self-expression, and being heard: This is the chakra located in the throat and is thus related to communication and creativity. Here we experience the world symbolically through vibration, such as the vibration of sound representing language. It is about vibration. Let those vibes vibrate with vigor and vitality.
